Scrapbooking-how do I start with this Hobby

Choosing your topic-when you have a family or petss preferred this may be the hardest decision they make.

Good luck with that and welcome to your new addiction! -Scrapbooking!

You've been involved in any scrapbooking yet? Just a warning that can become really addictive! Can become quite difficult to walk past the craft shops and newsagencies primarily scrapbooking specialist shops, once you have started this hobby. Scrapbooking for the beginner it may be a bit daunting and I will try to delete some of the fog for you.

LET'S START BY CREATING A PAGE

STUDY your photos before you start your page that you need to study your photos for color and shapes and subject focus. In choosing your colors page you can relate these back your photo and try to contrast or a compliment to highlight your picture. Some Layout before starting to paste only to make sure you don't lose your photo background.

COLOR blends-keep your scrapbook. Once you have decided on your theme color base next you need to watch for free or contrasting colours liven up your pages. Not just make a mash of colors, stick with one or two main colour contrasting colors and with one of these add a little accent colors. You may be looking for the pages of background and use the base color to highlight, or you can do the opposite, using the base color to the background page and fooling with templates and color contrast.

TEMPLATE combinations-this can be a very personal choice as we would like all the different shapes, colours and nuances of certain colors. Keep your pages interesting with circles, triangles, stripes and torn-paper for the rough and tumble photos. It is nothing of use up to 3 models to make a very interesting page. (Do not use more than that or you will detract from your photos.)

EMELLISHING your page-yet to decide if you want to merge or highlight with your embellishments. A suggestion that we always have us in the field of art is to keep your numbers irregular 1,357 etc. This does not matter if you're using the buttons of flowers or whatever.

Pay attention to your embellishments to match the photo-it makes no sense to put a landscaping fluffy next to cut wood hubby!

Try your embellishments before you stick on your work.

ENJOY and collect (gather anything-become an order of bits and pieces!), also go through the rellies cabinets, if necessary, especially if they are in trades or sew!
